Think
04:37
|
|||
My ego is a cancer, is a weapon.
And when I look in the mirror there’s a boy with a question:
Why do I keep doing this? Why should I even try?
Don’t need reminding that I’m small, I think I know that
And now I’m tempted to stay inside the rest of my life.
Think think think think, what do you think I should do?
Think think smoke drink, don’t really care what you think.
Think think think think, what do you think I should do?
Think think smoke drink, I don’t care what you think.
In dreams a car is a symbol for the body.
Well I crashed my car and I woke up bent and bloodied.
There’s still a part, wants to feel something badly.
I’m dyin’, I'm dyin', I'm dyin' for beauty.
My good side is all you’ve seen
How’d you like to finally meet me?
I survived another day
Big thanks to those who stood out of my way!

Dark Cloud
04:47
|
|||
Sometimes I drive with the sun in my eyes
Put the shades away, see the true face of the day
I gotta know. And when I know, I wonder:
How much the steering wheel can take.
How many tears in my eyes before I can’t drive straight.
And there’s a dark cloud…
I can feel the earth singin’ through my feet
But what I wanna know is will it open up and swallow me?
I kinda hope so. Yeah, I wanna go. But I wonder:
For how long will I fall?
Is there something on the other side that will make sense of it all?
And there’s a darkness…
The memory of you is bright so I close my eyes
I gotta think of new days.
I’m all for keepin’ calm and I’m off the scene anyway
When thoughts of you come callin’
I gotta think of new days.

River Runner
02:41
|
|||
We’ve come so far, not going back.
River runner, where you take me
Down your darkened tracks.
I’m blinded to what’s outside ‘cause the car is bright
And I close my eyes
My mind is full of things I’ve known and seen
Will you wait for me at the station, my love?
The rhythms of life like the push of the tide
I stand on the edge and I breathe a sigh
And then I slide
My chest is full, I’m breathing water black
Let it all inside
I’m baptised in moonlight.

My Things
03:52
|
|||
I need more, I need less
I could settle but I cling to the past.
This goes here, that goes there (yeah, looks fine)
When there’s order in front of my eyes there’s order behind.
The ghosts are crowding, they’re filling every space
The ghosts are crowding, they’re part of this place
My things, valuable as friends
Their usefulness never ends
Who says that I don’t love?
Get that mattress off the floor, but if I did
I’d miss the memory of us falling onto it.
That chair is a person too
Do we throw people away? Yeah I’m talkin’ to you.
The ghosts are crowding, they’re filling every space
The ghosts are crowding, they’re part of this place

The Day is Ours
04:02
|
|||
Another word unspoken, another deception
We’re not broken. We’re up in the clouds
Not coming down. The day is ours.
Clouds (let it surround you)
We’re holding onto something.
We’re in the same boat. We’re lost.
At least we’re together. Adrift in the sea
My lady in white. And there’s no time.
See? (It’s all around you)
We’re holding onto something.
It’s the little things, a simple means to make you fly.
